The selection of worthiness starts with being honest and upright.
The listed names are transparent for all to see.
Destiny has been set through presence of the blossoming flower.
The dancing elegance of ink are displayed to the public, while waiting like a climbing Cicada at the peak.

The selection of flowers through rewards,
The virtuous will rise among the people,
Who will be the first to start the dance?
The desired leader who embraced homeliness and flowing ink,
Lifting the system by the treatment of fate,
The clarity of the people have already started the ascending climb
The honest and upright are seen from the bottom as clear and still as it is.

1. ”Ink” represent Chinese calligraphy. The 3 Presidential candidates Mr. Ng Kok Song, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Mr. Tan Kin Lian, only Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam practices Chinese calligraphy.
2. “Cicada” also known as “Cicadidae”. In ancient times Cicada is a sacred spiritual creature with high status, implying purity and nobility. It also represents being the top or the first. We often say “continuous success” which means consistently being the first in everything for forever.
3. Therefore Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam is the person who is represented as the climbing cicada.
